Salsa Dip with Lioko Mexikaner

Someone who tries Lioko Mexikaner for the first time might say something like: „Hmm, reminds me of salsa dip“. That's why our spicy Lioko Mexikaner is an excellent base for our authentic Mexican salsa dip recipe. With this secret ingredient, our salsa dip becomes fruity and spicy

Step 1

To peel the tomatoes, broach them crosswise and then pour boiling water over them. After 10 minutes of steeping, the peel should already have come loose at the corners. Then just peel off the rest of the shell with your hands.

How to: Tomaten schälen

Step 2

Now, cut the tomatoes, peppers and onion into very fine pieces. (For the less skilled snippers among us, use a blender for a part of the vegetables to achieve the creamy consistency.) Add the chopped vegetables, along with salt, sugar, lemon juice and Lioko Mexikaner DERBE SCHARF to a saucepan. Let everything simmer for 1 to 1.5 hours until it has a creamy consistency.

Step 3

Before you can serve it with nacho chips, the salsa dip has to cool down.
