Aromatic Tomato Marinade
Crispy, hearty buffet snack
For Mundfeuerwerk fans a decent evening depends on the marinade. That's the key to the right flavor for your tofu (or whatever you want to marinate)!
Roughly chop the onion and tomatoes to be able to puree all the ingredients in a blender.
Cut the tofu (or whatever you want to marinate) into slices about 1 cm thick.
Pour the liquid over the tofu and let it sit for about 30 minutes.
Now it's time for the frying pan: Fry the tofu and the marinade at least until the liquid has evaporated. The crispy pieces of the marinade are ideal as a topping.
for 4 portions (as side dish)
- 400 g tofu (or any alternative of choice)
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 onion
- 3 tomatoes
- fresh herbs such as parsley, basil or rosemary
- dried herbs (rosemary, thyme, oregano) of choice
- 4 shots Lioko Mexikaner Classic (use Lioko Mexikaner Derbe Scharf to get it more spicy)
