Aromatic Tomato Marinade

Crispy, hearty buffet snack

For Mundfeuerwerk fans a decent evening depends on the marinade. That's the key to the right flavor for your tofu (or whatever you want to marinate)!


Step 1

Roughly chop the onion and tomatoes to be able to puree all the ingredients in a blender.

Step 2

Cut the tofu (or whatever you want to marinate) into slices about 1 cm thick.

Pour the liquid over the tofu and let it sit for about 30 minutes.

Step 4

Now it's time for the frying pan: Fry the tofu and the marinade at least until the liquid has evaporated. The crispy pieces of the marinade are ideal as a topping.

  • 400 g tofu (or any alternative of choice)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 onion
  • 3 tomatoes
  • fresh herbs such as parsley, basil or rosemary
  • dried herbs (rosemary, thyme, oregano) of choice
  • salt
  • 4 shots Lioko Mexikaner Classic (use Lioko Mexikaner Derbe Scharf to get it more spicy)
